Betsy Hogg (rhymes with vogue) is a New York-based actor, thrilled to be pursuing a career in this crazy business. In addition to readings, workshops, and Off-Broadway productions, Betsy's been lucky enough to appear on Broadway 3 times, making her debut in The Crucible at 13 and, most recently, playing Molly Aster in the closing company of Peter and the Starcatcher. Regionally, she's travelled the country, revisited The Crucible (twice) as Mary Warren, and been dubbed a "comic dynamo" by The Boston Globe.
Hailing from Shaker Heights, Ohio, Betsy started acting at 9, playing everything from a beloved beltress (Annie) to a super sweet serial killer (The Bad Seed). After 2 stints on Broadway as a young actor (the second in Fiddler on the Roof), plus some adventures in film and television, she went on to graduate from Northwestern University, where she's grateful to have learned more about being both an actor and a person.
In addition to performing, punning, and puzzle-solving, her favorite activities include binge-watching TV, playing board games, and correcting your grammar.
